Readlings apps ("Readlings", "we", "us") are made by Luna Research Labs Ltd Co (doing business as Readlings). This policy explains how our apps handle information. It applies to all Readlings sight-word apps.
Information we collect
None. We do not collect any personal information. There is no sign-up, no account, and no login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location, and we do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
Information stored on your device
To make the app work, a small amount of information is saved only on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else:
- Your child's first name, if you choose to enter one (used only to personalize the greeting).
- Learning progress, such as which words have been practiced or mastered, streaks, and your chosen reading voice.
This information stays on the device and is removed if you delete the app.
No ads, analytics, or tracking
Readlings contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking or marketing software. We do not build profiles of you or your child.
Purchases
The optional one-time purchase to unlock the full app is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or receive your payment details. Those purchases are governed by Apple's and Google's privacy policies.
Children's privacy
Readlings is designed for young children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, the app is consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults.
Sharing
We do not share, rent, or sell any information, because we don't collect any.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new date.
